Ecoplate Branding and Design
The client wanted a logo and design for a mobile app that allowed users to find restaurants based on lifestyle (vegan/vegetarianism/gluten-free diets) and eco-friendliness. I did several sketches for logos before deciding on this logo (right). Since the concept was for a healthy/environmental theme I went with soft, green colours and a safe and simple typeface. The client wanted a logo and app design that allowed users to find restaurants based on lifestyle (vegan/vegetarianism/gluten-free diets) and eco-friendliness. I respected the colours and typeface of the logo for the rest of the design, keeping the overall look simplistic and to the point. The client wanted a logo and design for an organic green tea cold beverage with the name of “Infinitea”. I made the logo as a simple typeface with a leaf covering the lowercase “a” with simple colours, green and black. For the can design I began with an infinity “∞” shape behind the letters for the packaging and followed the gentle-curving, smooth feel of the logo As part of the Infinitea branding I had two create two posters to target two separate demographics. One target demographic was younger “yoga” women so for that ad I took a stock image of a woman doing a yoga pose and photoshopped the drink into her hands while adding the slogan “stay green, stay young.” The second ad was more targeted for men of the same demographic so I instead featured the drink in a more “active” way, putting it in front of bamboo leaves and using brush splatters to create a feeling of intensity. Both ads were designed in Photoshop.
